1. Lingang Second Ring Park is located in Nanhui new town, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, covering an area of 710ha. The park forms a circular waterfront park around Dishui Lake, and "ecology" runs through the whole park. The design concept of the park originates from the "wind and water" in nature, connecting the river system and various public activity spaces through different forms of garden roads.

2. Circle is the basic vocabulary of the whole park design, echoing the "water drop" concept of Dishui Lake. 10 circular areas, combined with the materials with varying scales, change 10 different park spaces. The design strategy is "vegetation succession and habitat construction".

3. As an important element of the open space system of Nanhui new town and an organic part of the whole Dishui Lake area, the park links the surrounding communities, provides leisure and sports networks for residents and tourists, and provides habitat patches for large wild animals. Life, work, recreation and ecosystems are intertwined to create diversified landscapes.

4. "Ten kinds of circular" spaces: echoing the design elements of "circle", the park designs 10 kinds of "Circular" spaces, which are composed of mound, dense forest (circular forest), room (circular space surrounded by trees), Observatory (circular waterfront hydrophilic platform), island, water ring, road ring, water mirror, plaything (circular play space) and rotary bridge. Ten different scenes are freely combined, It is applied to different areas of the park to create different functional scenes.

5. Garden Road: the garden road design aims to improve the quality of the park on the basis of full respect for the current situation. In the park, the designer establishes the main garden road, and makes the park better connected with the surrounding through a small amount of adjustment of the garden road layout and maintenance strategy. The garden Road + use function + characteristic landscape highlights the personality of the park.

6. Soil improvement and rain and flood management: as the soil salinity in some areas is still high and not suitable for development, the planning team proposes to help improve the soil through long-term agricultural and animal husbandry practice, remove the salt in the soil and increase the content of organic matter, so as to gradually replace the aboveground vegetation community into forest.
